Hey there, I’m Mary!

A Lifestyle, wellness, & travel blogger, Michigan native, wife, dog mom, and lover of crispy pickles, mountains, and running.

In this blog, I share my journey in finding balance and all the tips and resources that got me there in hopes that you, too, can find balance in your own life.

I've got you covered from tips on having a positive mindset, resources to getting organized, and places to travel to take breaks in between! Follow along and let’s make time to create a life that brings you joy and peace!

Where it all started…

My husband and I sold our first home, packed all our belongings into our truck, and moved across the country to take on travel nursing. This move required me to leave my 9-5 job and left me feeling like I lost my purpose. I envied my husband being able to go to work and practice his career so I set out to find something I could do from home that brought me joy, too.

I began my research into starting a blog because it’s something I had always wanted to do. The more I started to dig, the more I realized the impact a blog could make not only in my own life but in others’ lives too. I never knew what a blog could do for me - not only financially, but mentally, too. My heart has always been driven to help others by sharing my experiences, providing guidance for everyday life struggles, and giving insight into how to just simply DO life in a world that is constantly pulling you backward.

Blogging has helped me overcome many hurdles in life and I know by sharing my experiences and resources, I can maybe help you, too!

Things you may not know about me.

I’m an enneagram type II - I love BIG. My door is always open. And I value my close circle with my whole being.

I am a big foodie - I love being in the kitchen, learning to cook new cuisines, and trying unique foods.

Happiest when outdoors - Send me to the mountains, to the beach, or the garden and you’ll find me smiling.

Health and Wellness are a priority in our home.

I am a lover of animals - especially baby animals.

I believe my house becomes a home the moment my table is full of food and surrounded by all those I love.

I love to read and my favorite genre seems to surprise people: murder thrillers/mystery.
